Quick Tips on Getting and Staying Healthy

Cold and Flu Tips

Starting to feel a cold or flu coming on? If you have a juicer, juice 2 oz. of ginger and add 2 oz. of lemon juice (and 2 oz. of water to dilute it) and gulp it down fast. After the burn is gone, you'll start to feel much better!

No juicer? Slow boil a small handful of black peppercorns and 4 or 5 slices of ginger. After you strain it, sip on the tea while you take a hot bath with bath salts or epsom salts. Be sure to finish the bath with a cold shower, wrap up in lots of blankets and go to sleep.

Special February Hours

Blessings from GRD Healing Arts Clinic,

We hope you are having a wonderful winter season.  It was quite a treat to see that snow here a few weeks ago. 

We wanted to let you know that we have a busy February.  Gurusahay and Mukta will be teaching at a yoga seminar as well as attending a yoga seminar later in the month.  We wanted to make you aware of our schedule because if you need to come in to see Dr. Khalsa, we’d like to accommodate your schedule.  Messages will be checked at the office while we are gone. 

Not to worry, massages will be available during this time with Maureen and Danica.  You can call her directly at 404-488-5752.

Dr. Khalsa will be out of the office from Thursday, February 7th – Monday, February 11th   
He will return to work February 12th – 14th   9:00 – 1:00 and 3:00 to 6:00.
In addition, he will be out from Friday February 15th through Monday February 25th.
He will then be back in the office on February 26th.

For those of you who are more visual,
these are the days of February that we will be out of the office.
